The results generated by the Boreal Avian Modelling Project (BAM) are relevant to all managers of the boreal forest, from researchers in government and academia, to members of non-governmental organizations and the private sector.

BAM results can be used to:

• establish objectives and priorities for conservation planning
• identify priority habitats for future protected areas and assess existing ones
• assist in the assessment of environmental impacts of development
• inform the design and analyses of research and monitoring programs
• enhance education for all those interested in migratory birds
